Frequently Asked Questions
How do I change weight units?
Go to Settings → Weight Unit and choose between kg or lbs. All weights in the app will automatically convert.
Can I edit a completed workout?
Yes! Go to History, tap on a workout, then tap the Edit button. You can modify sets, weights, reps, or delete the workout entirely.
How do I track my progress?
Navigate to the Analytics tab to view:
- Total workouts and training time
- Exercise progression charts
- Volume by muscle group
- Average workout duration
Is my data backed up?
All data is stored locally on your device. If you use iCloud or iTunes backup, your workout data will be included in your device backup. We recommend enabling device backup to prevent data loss.
Can I export my workout data?
Currently, export functionality is not available. Your data is safely stored on your device and included in device backups. Export features may be added in future updates.
Does the app work offline?
Yes! Lfty is 100% offline and does not require an internet connection. All features work without connectivity.
How do I reset the database?
Go to Settings → Database Management → Reset Database. ⚠️ Warning: This permanently deletes all workouts, history, and templates. This action cannot be undone.
Can I add custom exercises?
Currently, you can update the exercise library with new pre-defined exercises via Settings → Update Exercise Library. Fully custom exercise creation is planned for a future update.
How does the rest timer work?
When you mark a set as complete, the rest timer automatically opens. You can adjust the default rest time in Settings → Default Rest Time. During the timer, you can add/remove time or close it early.
What if I lose my workout while navigating away?
Don't worry! When you have an active workout, a banner appears at the top of all screens. Tap "Resume" to return to your workout. Your progress is automatically saved.
